Here is a child approved recipe that we ate in 2 days!
There’s just something about having seasonal recipes that makes me so happy! We’re making lots of pumpkin things around here and we devour them right away! I had fun making these because Charlie participated and the more involved he is in what I’m creating, the more likely he is to try! Although it pretty much has to be a baked good…
Anyway, I shared this pumpkin bar recipe from Hummusapien on Tuesday Five recently and here it is!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup almond butter
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1 medium banana
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
chocolate chips for added flavor!
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Spray a pie dish or an 8×8 pan with your choice of non-stick spray.
In a mixing bowl, blend almond butter, pumpkin puree, maple syrup, and banana.
Add in dry ingredients until smoothly blended!
Pour into pan and using a spatula, smooth it over until it’s even.
Bake for 30 mins or until toothpick comes out clean! I had to add an extra 5 minutes to ours!
