Summer Blues + Nordstrom Giveaway!

I’m sitting at the computer, coffee in hand, giddy as ever, because I have some exciting news coming soon that I can’t wait to share with you! Today is also my little sister’s birthday and if there’s anything in life I love, it’s sisters and birthdays ;) So here’s a little shoutout to my gal LILI! I wish I was home to celebrate with you LO! Love you so much.

How is your summer going? I was in Springboro, Ohio over the weekend with Eric’s family celebrating Baby Dunigan. It was so fun to see his fam and swoon over adorable baby clothes and SHOES (the obsession is real). And I also got to meet my best friend’s baby! I had a moment of tears as I held him the first time. It’s so crazy to think about all the events in life you go through together from college formals, to life in a big city, to standing by each other’s sides on our wedding days, and now having children! I got so emotional thinking about it!

It’s fitting that I’ve been in love with baby blue prints this year and this adorable one shoulder dress is another favorite I’ve added to my closet (it’s 40% OFF RIGHT NOW!) . I love the color and elastic stretch. It’s great to wear in this Texas heat too. It’s non-maternity and also comes in a pretty rust color for fall. Speaking of fall, have you enjoyed the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale yet? I shared my favorites in my previous post and they’ll be available to non card holders starting this Friday! It’s the best sale of the year (in my opinion) and you’ll want to move quickly because things sell out fast!
