One of the important parts of Faster Way to Fat Loss is carb cycling. This means having 2 days back to back in the week where you eat less than 50 net carbs. This often means a lot less calories so to make sure you’re still eating enough, FAT is a necessary to keep your energy up and still feel full!
One of my favorite recipes I learned are these peanut butter cup ‘fat bombs’. I prefer not to think of them as a fat bomb so much as a delicious treat that I can still enjoy and burn FAT! Contrary to popular belief, fat is not only good for your body but NECESSARY!
If you missed my post on Faster Way, you can read it here.
Ingredients:
2/3 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup rice crispies
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
a sprinkle of chocolate chips! (if you so desire)
Directions:
In a small bowl, mix peanut butter, maple syrup, and melted coconut oil.
Add rice crispies and chocolate chips!
Using small cupcake liners, fill 12 with batter and put in freezer for 20 minutes!
These are meant to be kept in freezer until eaten. They start melting in seconds after they come out! On low carb days, 2 of these suffice as extra fat and are TOTALLY guilt free! I generally make these without rice crispies only because I usually don’t have them on hand! And the recipe is just as delicious.
