Hi Friends! How was your weekend? I got away for my first trip sans baby. Eric watched C while I flew out to Baltimore to celebrate my friend’s 30th birthday. Did you catch my Instagram from yesterday? Eric was such a rockstar. Having a baby can be super stressful, especially your first time around and I was so anxious about leaving town. I wasn’t worried about Charlie not being in good hands, but I knew I would miss him terribly. Eric reassured me that a boys weekend for the two of them would be great and sure enough, they had a ball! I came home to a clean house, exercised dogs, stocked kitchen, and dinner on the table. Yeah, Eric totally rocked it.

Now let’s get to it and talk about fashion. I know that many people would argue there is no place for fashion in their lives or maybe it’s at the bottom of the totem pole in terms of importance (hi Dad!). I would counter that fashion choices often dictate how we feel about ourselves. Personally, I feel super confident and good about myself when I wear something that screams ME. Something that looks good and feels good.

One of my favorite pieces that always makes me like a rockstar is a jumpsuit. And now that we’re in the midst of spring and summer will soon be upon us, there are many opportunities to wear fun outfits. I recently wore this adorable ruffled jumpsuit to a special event at an art gallery and felt awesome and fashionable in this ensemble. I love the dainty polka dots and fun sleeve details. This one hugged me in the all the right places and it felt super slimming!
