There are some fun trends returning to the fashion scene right now and the denim skirt might be my favorite. It brings back memories of high school, music from the early 2000s, and the million pictures I had plastered up on my bedroom walls. Plus I think it’s so cute with a simple tee and neckerchief! Classic with a little flare. Madewell is having a sale right now, so if you’re looking to stock up on tees and bandanas (or invest in some fabulous denim), now is the time!
Over the course of my blogging, I’ve noticed you guys love my personal posts most. So I thought I’d spice up today’s post with a few fun facts about me!
9 Things You Might Not Know About Me:
1.I learned how to drive in a 12 seat Church Van. It’s why I know how to parallel park so well ;) My family traveled all over the country in that van.
2. I used to sing and write lyrics back in the day. They were extremely mopey and sad but I thought I had a decent voice so I recorded one of them. I finally heard myself out loud…wow. My singing aspirations have since then died… (though singing in my car is still my favorite).
3. I have written and directed 9 plays. We did them in my family’s basement. They are some of my favorite (and most awkward) memories from growing up.
4. I love collecting meaningful quotes. They just bring me back down to earth. If you have any favorites, send them my way ;) This is mine:

5. My dream job as a teenager was to be a music video director
6. I think I could be happy eating peanut butter and jelly sandwiches every day for the rest of my life
7. I have a huge family. I’m one of 27 cousins on one side and 18 on the other. Get togethers have always been a party and I’m no novice to chaos. Family is everything.
8. I can do an ollie on a skateboard
9. I’m pretty extroverted but I would say that some of the moments I am happiest is my alone time with a good book
