This dress. This shop. These florals.

It’s no secret I have a love affair with Morning Lavender. From their dainty feminine dresses to their unique skirts, tops, & swimwear, I have developed somewhat of an obsession. If you read my post about my pink one shoulder dress or floral maxi, you’re well aware of my growing collection.

Today it’s all about the cold shoulders, a rapidly growing summer trend. I love the neckline & sleeves of this piece as well as the giant flowers that grace the print. I was so excited to be working with Morning Lavender but totally anxious about how this dress would fit when it arrived. I’m growing fast these days but I lucked out with timing and was so comfortable slipping into this pretty number with my bump.

What I’ve found with Morning Lavender is that I can’t find pieces like this at other stores, at least not of the same quality or price. I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way because their dresses sell out faster than I can down a chocolate bar, and that’s fast. But if you see something that’s not available now, don’t think it won’t come back. I have seen a few of my favorites come back in stock. I check their website routinely for this yellow maxi to come back because that I’m dying to have in my closet.
