Hi there friends! I hope you’re enjoying your week :) I’ve had another exciting one with the birth of my cousin Ellie’s baby ‘Bea’ on Tuesday. Isn’t Bea such a cute name? A classic! Ellie and I are super close and share so much family. I seriously can’t wait to raise babies together! I get to meet that little nugget in just a few weeks and I’m so excited!

So here’s to wearing pink in honor of Bea ;)

Do any of you find yourself always gravitating towards novelty pieces? I love my basic staples but I’m such a sucker for a pretty statement dress + earrings. I tend to fill my closet with many bright prints and colorful details, especially come spring and summer.

Enter this pretty ruffled one shoulder stripe dress, another unique and pretty piece I can’t seem to get enough of. The material is so comfortable and I feel so girly and fun in this number. I hated the color pink growing up you guys. I was the kid who played baseball and hockey, participated in karate tournaments, and wore matching sweatsuits with my brother. I was such a tomboy! I find it so funny that I now am the girliest in my family and wear lipstick, color my hair, and now run a fashion blog. It’s funny how life changes, right?

Another thing I love about this outfit are my Pineapple Earrings! Aren’t they fun? They’re so sparkly & under $30! I don’t know what it is about wearing fruit prints and pieces in summer but I love it. I’m ready to add some lemons to my wardrobe ;)
