Did anyone catch a lot of R & R over the weekend? I’m feeling so refreshed going into this week. Eric and I binge watched the entire first season of Stranger Things and it was amazing for multiple reasons. Eric does not enjoy television. It’s not his idea of relaxation. In fact, getting him to sit down and watch something with me is kind of a rarity. He prefers researching or playing games on his phone. We all have our things, right? When I told him that Stranger Things is a supernatural story about a missing boy, he didn’t have much interest. But a chilly weekend with lots of down time got us over on that couch and once we started, we couldn’t stop…

The other thing that’s got me in high spirits today is the weather (NO WAY MEG!)…. We’re back in our ‘sweet spot’ as my father in law likes to say. It will be in the 70s and (even 80s tomorrow) all week. I’m putting the sweater away and tanks back out.

Today I’m sharing a super casual comfy outfit that can be worn all year round (my favorite!). I’m totally a t-shirt and jeans kind of gal when it comes to casual style. It’s rare that I find a super cute t-shirt though. I discovered this peplum tee which adds the perfect amount of flare and texture to an every day look and it’s so soft and comfy! It’s from Urban and comes in 7 colors (that’s right, 7!) and I think I just need them all? They’re perfect for a toddler teacher like me.

I’m wearing jeans from 7 for all mankind and I think every pair of jeans I own is that brand. I’ll get them at the outlets so I save some cash! I highly recommend the ones at San Marcos (if you live in Austin or nearby). This brand is my favorite!

This tee and jean combo is great by itself, but if you ever get a chill, it’s great to pair with a long cardigan. I got this cute one at Madewell (on sale, of course) before Christmas and now it’s sold out. However, any light cardigan would do! I suggest this sweater, or for a cheaper price point, this one.

I’m wearing an old pair of booties (3 years strong, what whatttttt), but I just got similar pair from Lucky Brand with a lower heel that would be good for a longer day wearing them! I highly recommend :)
