Happy New Year! We were greeted with 70 degree weather and sunshine as we stepped off the plane on Saturday. It was quite nice :) We spent our day doing errands and then on the couch with vino and a delicious dinner! It was so relaxing! And then to kickoff 2017, Eric & I played Pitch and Put and I beat him! #HumbleBrag… Had to. I haven’t beat him before and I’m pretty excited about it! If this year is going to include more golf, I’m not mad about it :) After Pitch and Put we ran errands and I enjoyed a long, much needed run.  I’m feeling energized and pumped for this year and so excited to start on a fresh foot!

Do you guys have any resolutions you’ve made? I make them every year but tend to drop the ball right after January. One year I wrote letters of appreciation to about 60 people and that was a good goal ;) I’m doing the usual re-charge my metabolism by cutting back on carbs and varying up my exercise routine. This gorgeous January weather is certainly helping since all I want to do is be outside!

Let’s talk about this crop outfit now, shall we? It’s one of my favorites! These high rise Sam & Lavi pants are so comfy and perfect for any chic outfit you want to wear out! I’ve worn it with three different crop tops now and I’m in love. I think it would look so gorgeous with this white bow top too! It might have to be my next purchase ;) These pants are two years old (but still in stock!) and I break them out every wedding season. They’re amazing! If you’re looking for a good crop top, check out Express! They have so many. My crop is from there but almost sold out, so if your size is gone, try checking out this off the shoulder one or this high neck one instead! I’m wearing a size small and enjoy the amount of midriff showing (depending on where I am wearing this outfit), but if midriff turns you off, order a size up! I have this crop in white as well and in a size medium and it worked perfectly for a friend’s wedding! I didn’t look scandalous, I promise!

You guys, I’ve never been a bag person until I started this blog… and now I like too many. I seem to have collected a few favorites! When I got that 50% off ticket to Kelly Wynne, I decided to grab this Polynesian Pearl bag for evening outfits. I adore it and it’s circular form. How amazing is that white sparkle?!

Today I still have lots of errands to do and a few messes to clean up. Taking down our Christmas decorations is always a bit depressing but at least we can get our house clean and organized again. I was invited to a cycling class at Flywheel Sports today and I can’t wait to try it out! There are so many neat places opening up at the Domain.
