We are moving from our cozy one bedroom apartment at Eleven Austin to a condo rental across town. Though we have enjoyed our time at this place (and I’ve enjoyed using our amenities such as the pool), we are ready for more room and a different neighborhood. Austin definitely has a different feel to it depending where you are in town. I feel like this is a city that any person feels they can belong in. It’s awesome. East Austin (where we currently live) is developing rapidly into one of the coolest parts of town. It used to be a lot more urban and dangerous– we were told that it wasn’t a recommended spot to visit, but now it is up and coming with a lot of unique bars and restaurants.

Where we are heading is more of a homey neighborhood. It feels a lot like my hometown back in Chicago. We’ll be a few blocks from our church and in walking distance from some of our new friends. I am so excited for this new chapter! (Although I will miss this apartment and our first little home in Austin)
