It’s finally starting to feel a bit like fall around here. With highs in the 70s and 80s the last couple of days, I’ve been on cloud 9. We stopped by Homegoods over the weekend and picked up a few fall decorations and we’re going to do some more decorating this week! I’m excited to scoop up some small pumpkins and gourds to create a centerpiece for our dining table :) I hope you all had a great weekend!
I didn’t do my anticipated “9 Months with Charlie” post that I had planned on doing this summer. I love writing these posts, not just for you, but also for me as I will want to remember the details of these milestones with our next baby! I’m already thinking about what products we used at the beginning and how we got through difficult stages. It’s funny how much of a blur it’s been. I didn’t write the post simply...
#TGIT – am I right? Charlie is off to daycare today and for the first time in months, I’m getting a break to get my hair colored! It’s funny how these little luxuries in life can be so REFRESHING. Even though we’re heading into fall, I’ve been itching to go a little lighter. But I’ve loved my more natural look lately. We’ll see what happens.
Hope you had an awesome Labor Day! I love a long weekend. We were in Seattle visiting my grandparents and cousins and not only was it wonderful to see family, but the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. It had been 20 years since I had visited the city and it was so great to be back and experience the ferry ride over to Bainbridge, the picturesque views, and the crisp air. I got to pull out some sweaters...
Everyone’s talking about Pumpkin Spice Lattes returning to Starbucks and the on set of fall. As much as I would like to hop on this trend, it seems like summer is never ending here in Texas. Lately, I’ve been so preoccupied that it hasn’t even bothered me as much as it usually does every August and September (unless you saw my instastories from today of course- that humidity is killer). But I have started purchasing some cozy pieces in...
Happy Tuesday! We had a quick weekend trip to Chicago for my friend’s wedding! I was reunited with a crew I hadn’t seen in a few years and it was like no time had passed. Surprisingly, this is the first wedding we’ve been to in a year and a half and it was so fun getting dressed up! You can catch my jumpsuit details here.
When my Juice Plus gummies arrived in the mail, I rushed to the front door, ripped open the package and immediately ate the serving size of each package. Disclaimer: these gummies are SO good, it will be necessary to exercise self control to avoid eating your monthly supply in a sitting! I actually am no novice to Juice Plus. My aunt sold it years ago when I was in high school and my mom bought them regularly. They were...
