Hi friends! Man, what a week. Yesterday E was sick with a fever and Charlie was a hot mess and didn’t nap, so by 5 pm was whining and impossible to please. I was totally spent after a day with zero breaks and lots of tears and it took all my willpower to remind myself to stay positive as these moments come and go. We win some and we lose some and I consider yesterday a loss.

McKenna’s Nursery!

When we moved into our house last summer, I had plans to share Charlie’s but after we found out we’d be expecting a girl, we decided to change up our rooms! It’s officially been two weeks since sweet McKenna made her entrance into the world and we became a family of four. The first few weeks after giving birth are always an adjustment in many ways. You’re getting to know a new person while watching your body transform once again and doing your best to survive on little sleep. It’s easy to feel extreme forms of emotion: both exuberant and blue, in a single moment.
