Seared Chicken Tacos with Corn Salsa

RECIPES
I mentioned the other day how much I love recipes from The Defined Dish and I just made her seared chicken tacos and truly think she is the best food blog I’ve ever discovered. I think if you really want to knock someone’s socks off, make this exactly how she did. I skipped a couple of steps to make this a little faster and more simple and still got AMAZING flavor, so I can only imagine the taste if...

9 Months with Jack

MILESTONES
I can’t believe my little buddy is 9 months old, sitting up, crawling, and laughing whenever his siblings give him a little extra attention. Where did the time go? I love this age. Jack is so happy. He’s is moving around (although his crawl is still a bit of inch worming.) He loves things that crinkle and he loves flipping pages of his books. He’s slowly losing interest in the bouncer which makes me sad because he has loved...

Valentine Crafts for Toddlers

Kid Crafts•TODDLER
Every holiday is celebrated around here and there is no shortage of crafting and creating. Today I wanted to share a few crafty ideas for you to do with your littles. Valentine’s Placemats: We made these for Thanksgiving and they are super simple. Cut out your favorite photo of your child, have them color on a piece of paper, and glue on pieces of magazines, stick on stickers, or have them do a handprint and cut it into a...

In a Happy Head Space

BLOGGING•OUTFITS
Hi hi hi! How is everyone doing? I feel like I’m in a really good head space right now. My January challenge has been going well and I’ve felt both incredibly productive and healthy this month. From at home facials, early bedtimes, meal planning, to knocking all those things off my to-do list, I’ve felt this weight I didn’t even realize I was carrying lift from me. Taking a break from social media has given me the opportunity to...

Blueberry Avocado Muffins

RECIPES•TODDLER
Trust me when I say these are the most delicious muffins I’ve ever made. And the ingredients are oh so healthy. Even my picky eater who doesn’t touch fruit ate the warm blueberries in these muffins in a few gulps. The recipe we used is from Baby Foode and it’s meant for mini-muffins. But we doubled up on these to make the full size. I’ve baked these twice now to make sure the goodness is the same after doubling...

How I Make My Baby Books

BABY
A lot of people will tell you that by your 3rd child, pictures go to the wayside and traditions you did with your older kids will often get skipped for the littles. If you know me, you know that will never be the case. Especially when it comes to pictures ;) I started a tradition with Charlie where I created a baby book for the first 6 months of his life instead of the first year.

Coconut Peanut Butter Energy Bites

RECIPES
I’ve been on a mission to find more healthy recipes for my kids in the new year. I have a list of recipes I’m working through and the first was something with shredded coconut. I found this no bake energy ball recipe yesterday and simply switched one ingredient to make them the most delicious little ball of nutrients, ever. Even my husband said, “Meg, these are incredible”.

January Cleanse Challenge

BLOGGING•HEALTHY LIVING
I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to say goodbye to December 2021. While we were able to escape for a lovely family vacation, the rest of the month was spent missing all the holiday festivities, weeks of school, and fighting a plethora of bugs that ran through our house. How one person can have 7 bugs in 6 weeks is beyond me but I know it was a nationwide problem and that many of you experienced the...

Merry Christmas!

Holiday Decor•OUR HOME
Merry Christmas! My Uncle sent this out last night and it really resonated with me so I thought I’d share with you all. I hope you are having a wonderful cozy Holiday. xoxox. Christmas is not for children Christmas is a strange season. When you’re a child, it is a season of presents. When you’re young, it’s a season of parties. When you get your own home, it’s a season of preparations. But when you get older, Christmas changes...
