Hello! Wow I’ve been silent in this little space for a while! Such is life with 4 kids under 6 and my creative efforts shifting. As you can see, I’ve started a new artistic series here with ornaments and it’s been my favorite creative project so far. I feel like I’ve really found my groove with these and they are less intimidating with each new project.

Believe it or not, I’m actually capped with orders for the remainder of the year but I wanted to show these to you for inspiration, in case you want to order some in the new year. I have enjoyed painting champagne bottles but ornaments are less time consuming & stressful, have a better margin and can be shipped, so for obvious reasons, I’m moving in this direction. However, I’ll be painting some champagne bottles here and there if it feels like a good fit for my time!

Our life update is that we are moving the first week of December! I haven’t shared this yet because I have felt strange about it. As you know, we have done many renovations and projects in our current house and put so much love into it, but we had an opportunity we couldn’t turn down! And while it’s bittersweet to leave this home filled with so many memories, I feel excited about this new house and the memories we’ll make there.

That’s another reason I capped my orders. I have to leave some extra time for preparing and packing.

2023 has been quite the year of change for me creatively. Between a new baby, limited free time, and a big move, I’ve been all over the place in trying to re-discover where I want to spend my time and what kind of space I want to occupy on the internet. Who is the Autumn Girl anyway? That feels like a girl from long ago.
