Christmas Snack Board

12.08.2022

Making festive boards with yummy treats makes snacking just a little bit more fun, don’t you agree? I love baking as much as the next person but the sugar highs in our house have been over the top lately and I we are in need of a break! So I thought I’d try and come up with a healthy afternoon treat for my kiddos that’s festive but made with mostly fruit and vegetables!

The bell pepper looks orange in this photo but it’s actually red. There are so many different red and green foods to mix in a holiday snack board from raspberries to broccoli to peppers, cucumbers, crackers, and more, but I really enjoyed crafting with strawberries. I went to my grocery store and purchased candy eyes in the baking section and then used chocolate chips to melt and dip my strawberries. Pretzels made for lovely reindeer antlers and grapes and bananas complemented the strawberries for Santa hats! I also tried some whipped cream but it didn’t stick as well. It sure tasted yummy though.

The orange dip is red pepper hummus with a raspberry nose and the white dip is yogurt and chocolate chips!

I hope this inspires some fun snacking at home!
