We’re having a baby!
Baby #4 will be joining us this Spring, a few weeks or so after Easter. As many of you know, I’ve dreamed of being a mama of 4 since I was a little girl and this is a dream come true. It’s kind of hard to believe this will be my last pregnancy or that we are entering this next chapter of parenting, but I’m so excited to complete our family.
This pregnancy has felt as much the same as the others. Although each one has been a little bit harder than the last. I’ve been feeling fatigued, a little sick to my stomach, and had a few mood swings here and there, but I’m finally on the other side with nothing but high hopes and a larger belly.
In fact, I started showing this time around 9 weeks. Enough that the seamstress hemming my bridesmaid dress for my sister’s wedding had the audacity to ask me about it! And all my family found out when they saw me in my dress. Even though we hadn’t made it through first trimester, my body was ready to show the world. We have gotten healthy check-in’s with our doctor and baby is doing great! So I am excited to finally share our news.
In case you missed our gender reveal on Instagram, we are expecting another BOY! As much as I would have loved another baby girl to dress up or that sister bond for McKenna, I’m thrilled for another buttery healthy baby boy! It was meant to be. The kids are so excited. They’re telling everyone about the baby in mommy’s belly.
