Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. And even though I fast most days, a hearty egg combo is usually my go-to for that first morning snack.
I thought I’d share some inspiration for building your own breakfast bowl that will give you a great boost of energy for hours on end.
I buy True Roots Quinoa Brown Rice blend and throw it in a variety of my salads and bowls. It’s already seasoned and cooked and just needs a little warming. I throw that in a bowl and either cook my eggs over easy (with a splash of water to steam the top off real nice) or medium bowled in my egg cooker.
Avocado and roasted vegetables always make a nice topper or sauteéd spinach adds that extra nutrient power. I season with some salt & pepper and the occasional red pepper flakes.
