There’s just something about setting the table with a pretty linen and decorating for the holidays that gives me all the happy feels. This is the first Easter that we’ll have guests in town and I was inspired to get ahead of the game and start decorating now. Especially with the gorgeous sunshine and 75 degree afternoons we’ve been having. After discovering this beautiful Foxglove tablecloth from Sweetgrass Home, I started browsing table items that would say Spring with a bright and airy cheer.
The first place I always make for holiday decor is Breed & Co. There are a few locations in Austin including one just down the street for me. They have the BEST artificial flowers and every flower you see on this table is from there. I had to go in several times to pick out the bests ones (shipments come in on Tuesdays!) and I also scooped up the velvet bunnies, carrots, and eggs.
I use Juliska Berry & Thread dinnerware for just about every table setting. It’s the casual china we registered for when we got married that’s simple and sophisticated and complements everything. I love the pretty scallop salad plates the most, especially layered with the dinner plate. So elegant!
Our rattan placemats are Pottery Barn and I found the perfect woven vases to go with. They’re $8 a pop and look so pretty with the faux flowers! I found woven statement napkin rings from artisan shop Macondo Forever and all the candles/candle holders are Amazon/World Market.
