Decorating our home and making it a special place that is inviting, warm, and fresh is something that brings me great joy. Over the past few years, our front room has become one of my favorites in our home because it’s so cozy and elevated with little details. I wanted to share a few small businesses that I’ve discovered along my decorating journey that brighten our space and make our house feel like a home.
I found Home Themed Home on Instagram last fall and immediately ordered candy canes for our front door. I intended to find something Valentine themed but discovered this gorgeous Rose Marie Ginger Jar and thought it was perfect for the Valentines Day and for all of Spring. It’s so effortlessly beautiful and the perfect way to welcome our guests. There are so many options and new ones released for each holiday!
Etsy has some great small businesses. After visiting a friends’ house and seeing how she styled her blue and white potters with dried plants, I decided to do a little internet search myself to see what would work with my own ceramics. I discovered this beautiful bouquet that paired perfectly with these large palms. I love how they bring a new level of depth to this room lift the space. The actual vase is from Homegoods!
I was on a mission to find pillow cases that blended our love for blue with a pop of color and these Schumacher pillow cases were the perfect addition to this space.
The few times we have been to Santa Barbara, Eric and I always stroll into our favorite home store Rooms and Gardens. They have the most beautiful blue and white planters and faux orchids and we picked this up on our last trip. They also have beautiful furniture, fabrics, candles, and all the accents you can imagine to spice up your home.
