Hi hi hi! How is everyone doing?
I feel like I’m in a really good head space right now. My January challenge has been going well and I’ve felt both incredibly productive and healthy this month. From at home facials, early bedtimes, meal planning, to knocking all those things off my to-do list, I’ve felt this weight I didn’t even realize I was carrying lift from me. Taking a break from social media has given me the opportunity to be creative in my own every day life. I let myself be bored sometimes (when I have that free time to actually be bored). I have been having fun crafting in the kitchen and with the kids. I feel like we paid our dues in sickness last month and are all feeling well and ready to see the world again.
I was supposed to take a break from blogging but I’ve learned that this creative outlet is really what keeps me going. I love sharing. I love cozying up in my own corner of the internet and going down memory lane. So even though I’m not sharing all these ideas on Instagram at the moment, my Autumn Girl content is still going strong and you all are still showing up and reading it :) So thank you!
I’ve been cruising through my reading list and am about to finish my 3rd book this month. I highly recommend Life’s Too Short by Abby Jimenez and The Invention of Wings by Sue Monk Kidd. I did not love Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover. Next on my reading list: Sunflower Sisters by Martha Hall Kelly.
I only have a few check-list items left on my list for the month and I’m so proud. One of my goals was to try a new healthy recipe and I’ve been mixing and matching recipes from The Defined Dish and they are so yummy. She makes the best salads.
What else? I’m rambling. As you can imagine, alllll the pink and heart decorations are going strong around our house and we’ve already done quite a few Valentine projects that will go live on the blog tomorrow.
I hope you are doing well and keeping your head held high! XO
Outfit details below. Dress is XS and I sized up half a size in these shoes. They are so dreamy!
