Holiday indulgence doesn’t have to be unhealthy. One of my favorite things to make myself and the kids are smoothies! Here are two easy Holiday recipes that will get you in the festive spirit all while nourishing your body!
Green Peppermint Smoothie
1 frozen banana
1/2 tsp cocoa
1 scoop Juice Plus chocolate protein powder
1 cup spinach
1/4 tsp peppermint
1 cup almond milk
German Chocolate Smoothie:
1 cup almond milk
1 scoop Juice Plus chocolate protein powder
1/2 cup frozen cherries
1 tsp almond butter
I prefer Juice Plus protein powder because it’s plant based and the taste can’t be beat. Both the chocolate and vanilla mixes are soooo good.
