Crisp cool mornings. Cozy afternoons under blankets. Outdoor crafting & picturesque weather. Holiday Scented diffusers. Taylor Swift pandora. Bedtime stories in Christmas pajamas. Warm soups & family movie nights.
Cozy season is upon us and we are loving every bit of it. I don’t know about you but we have had a very busy Fall. Last weekend was the first weekend in a long time that we had no plans on the calendar. We lit our first fire in the fireplace and caught up on much needed rest! Our house was chaos anyway with 3 little voices eager to be heard. But it was such great family time.
I can’t believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner. Our kids LOVE holidays as much as I do so our bedtime reading stories have turned into Thanksgiving-themed ones and Charlie’s pumpkins have been replaced with Turkey candles turned toys. Don’t worry, they’ve never been used as candles… It’s so much fun experiencing all this excitement through their eyes. We have been crafting up a storm and talking about things we are grateful for.
I love a good sweater dress but there’s a good chance I’ll be a little more casual for Thanksgiving this year. I think we all seem to feel a little more casual these days. I scooped up this Olympia shirt from one of my favorite brands Emerson Fry. It’s light and airy and the perfect color pattern for Fall. The model wears it with light denim but I couldn’t pull the look off. Dark jeans are my jam and this pair feel like leggings and are worth every penny. I’m wearing my favorite headband from Lele Sadoughi but it looks like the exact one is gone so I linked a similar one from the same brand. They’re an investment too but if I consider price per wear, then I made them worth it long ago!
What are your Thanksgiving plans this year?
