Just pour me a cup of coffee and I’m in my happy place, right here. My parents just made the move to Fort Collins, Colorado and after years of renting in downtown Chicago, they finally purchased a new home and it’s in the mountain. With beautiful trees and a large yard and cozy front porch, it’s right up their alley and I was able to visit them for my sister’s wedding weekend! I immediately stormed up to my parents and demanded why they didn’t tell me first thing that they had giant red trees in their yard. Fall color is my love language. We know this!
Life has been totally chaotic and busy lately with our Fall travels. After being pregnant and then having a young baby, all our travels just lined up for this season and we put a lot of effort into making them work. I’m so happy to be home now and relaxing with the kids. From arts and crafts to playing in Charlie’s “pumpkin patch” in his room (kid has literally 7 real pumpkins up there), we are making the most of Fall. (Even though it’s still hitting 90 degrees over here). We’re so ready for cooler weather to stay!
I received so many compliments on this vegan faux leather vest over the weekend because it looks designer but for a fraction of the price! (Eric was wearing something similar but with real leather and mine looked like it could be the same). It’s super warm but also just smooth and pretty. My hat is custom made by Aspen Hatter which was a special Christmas gift I received last year. I called this whole look “Colorado Meg” and I’m here for it.
How is your Fall going? Wishing you all the colorful cool vibes. Xo!
