That feeling when less is more…
I feel like I’ve worked really hard to curate a closet of vibrant floral dresses and all the good basics that getting dressed doesn’t take much energy for me anymore at all. I haven’t really bought much this fall because the weather here is still in summer mode and honestly, I’m really enjoying the more colorful dresses this go around. But I did purchase a few pieces that make me really happy including a new-to-me brand Dudley Stephens that creates the most beautiful & structured fleeces. I love the color block detail but I really love all the options they have on their website. Classic pieces that will be worn year after year.
Last Spring I bought this pink pullover from Kiel James Patrick and I love the muted pink color and how it blends all the seasons. The sizing is really weird though and I’m wearing a large.
After buying my first Reformation dress over the summer, I decided to go for another and size up since they are pretty fitted. I love the silhouette of this Michaela Puff Sleeve dress and the floral print is so beautiful (and it’s on sale for 40% off!) But if you’re looking for a more affordable dress, this Amazon one does not disappoint and I now have in two colors: black and white.
I’m looking forward to some chillier weather but really would just prefer the 90 degree heat to go away… a little happy medium would be great!
