Painting these bottles is so therapeutic and fun for me. I thought I’d show you a few recent ones I have worked on to give you some inspiration. Some of you are painting these yourselves and I’m glad you’re having as much fun as I am.
I am continuing to perfect my technique and learn what works and what doesn’t. There have been a few fails but that’s how the magic happens! I have realized a few things I am good at and a few that I’m not. I wanted to share more info with you as more of you gain interest in purchasing!
Even though I have painted a baby in a picture up above, it was tricky and didn’t turn out exactly as I imagined. I can generally paint something that I see a picture of unless it is a person. People have to be perfect and one incorrect brushstroke can make someone unrecognizable. So for that reason, I am not going to paint people! I can maybe do some from behind, but not faces!
The other thing I cannot paint is small letters and fonts. I have not perfected this yet and my paint pens aren’t made for the tiny letters. But I will practice!
Animals are fun. I am willing to try painting just about any animal!
I wish I could ship you a bottle of champagne but I don’t have a license for it which is why my bottles are for local pick-up and drop-off only. That’s just a shipping rule and I’ve done some research!
Pricing right now is $100 a bottle (give or take depending on bottle price) and $125 for Veuve or a fancier bottle! Again, it depends on bottle! Each bottle takes me several hours to paint. The white paint in itself is an art!
I am currently taking the months of April and May off and hoping to start back up again in June. I just want to adjust to life with a new baby and 3 kids and see what I have free time for! I may just want to relax, you know? This has become such a fun hobby of mine and I’m SO happy you are loving these too! Thank you for your support! If there is anything you’d like to see or a bottle that has been your favorite, let me know! The possibilities are endless :)
