Home for the Holidays! Our front room is feeling more festive than ever. Previously a space where we stored furniture and random boxes we didn’t know what to do with, our office has now become our lounge. After adding a piano, the room was transformed into a welcoming space with purpose. We put our second tree up in this room knowing it would show from the street and this space has become my favorite to cozy up with a book and light a candle.
Because this room shuts and locks, it is also a great space to put our presents and more fragile Christmas decor. I found all my Santas via Homegoods and Michael’s and the stockings you see are Target and World Market. My pillows are a collection I’ve put together over the years and I love the pops of red in this very blue room.
I learned how to decorate a tree this year via Megan Stokes and it was fun having one I knew the littles couldn’t really take apart.
Our wreaths on the outside windows are from our local grocery store that we dressed up with bows. Thought we live in a southern climate and Christmas tends to look different outside, I have never felt more at home or in the spirit as I do in our new house.
I am so excited to celebrate next week! I hope you are all staying healthy and safe and enjoying this magical season!
