Crafting is a family favorite activity over here and I was inspired after McKenna’s teachers created the cutest snowmen footprints to do some of our own. I know many of you know people who are somewhat isolated this Christmas and may need some cheer. We mailed some snowmen cards out to our parents and grandparents and I thought I’d share these easy craft ideas for you to do the same!
All you really need is some paint and sharpies and a place to draw. I chose canvas for our wreath and if it had been a bit bigger, it probably would have looked more like a wreath, but I love the way it turned out! We used washable paint for all of these (except wreath) because toddlers have wiggles and wiggles lead to accidents! A friend was over here to do the acrylic wreaths so I had an extra set of hands to avoid accidents!
I think these are all pretty self-explanatory but I had my kids contained in high chairs to do these! While the majority of the artistic part fell on me, the kids LOVED using their hands and feet for these creations!
I hope these inspire you!
