Last year I received the famous Stuart Weitzman Lowland over-the-knee boots for Christmas and clearly, they have been loved and worn a lot. I wanted to give you an honest review of them here in case these are something that have been on your own wishlist. They are definitely the most fancy/expensive wardrobe piece I own and I wanted to dive into my feelings about them!
First, I will go ahead and say that I absolutely love these boots for several reasons and they will be worn for years to come. I love how comfortable they are, the fact that they are low to the ground and I can wear them for hours without tiring my feet, and that they are so completely flattering on your legs. They make me feel tall and thin and effortlessly stylish.
I will also say that even though I’ve seen them worn with jeans, I personally find them only manageable with skirts and dresses as they are very snug. I actually feel suffocated in them if jeans are underneath and I think I have somewhat thin calves. The reason for the fit is so they don’t slouch down, which is very important! I will also say they fit true to size.
The main point I really wanted to make here is that even though these are my absolute favorite winter boot, I would still never pay full price for them (and neither did my gifter!). I am sharing this review intentionally as black Friday sales are going on because this is the time of year they were purchased because of the discount! I am SO HAPPY with these boots, but still am shocked by their regular price tag and am happy that they go on sale every year! I have linked only the Lowland boot below as those are the ones I own and can speak for, and each below is discounted (at different prices and in different colors). If you have any questions, feel free to leave them in the comments!
