Thanksgiving break has begun and although the world is still such an uncertain place, there is no shortage of joy around the holidays for us. Being able to be home with our littles and relax while getting into the festive spirit is just what we need right now.

Grammie and Papa are here, the weather is perfect, we’ve been watching the cartoon Grinch and talking about what we are grateful for, and spending lots of time reading festive books. I’m hopeful that even with limited activities, we’ll have the merriest season yet.

Our holiday outfits from J.Crew arrived just in time for us to take family pictures this week and I can’t decide whose plaid dress I love more: mine or McKenna’s. Both of our outfits are on major sale right now and I highly recommend if you are even thinking about them, order now because J.Crew’s shipping is very delayed.

I’m feeling very grateful even though this has been a year full of challenges. I’m grateful my children are still blissfully ignorant about what’s been going on in our world and have experienced nothing but joy. I’m happy to finally be pregnant with a healthy baby after a rough start to our journey this year. And I’m so grateful to have found a house in Austin that has finally made this city we’ve lived in for 6 years feel like home.
