Now that we have a pool and we’re in the middle of Texas summer, I spend the majority of my time in swimsuits and coverups if we’re outdoors. Sometimes I’ll come home from a run and hop in the pool instead of showering immediately when we’re going to continue playing outside because it’s quicker than setting both kids to have snack in my bathroom while I shower, ha. Anything I can wear comfortably and sweat in is great!
Because of this, I have grown my swimsuit collection! And I want to share a few favorites. I recently purchased my high rise bikini from Summersalt and love how flattering it is! I sized up because their suits are a bit snug and the size 6 fit perfectly. They have a zillion adorable pieces but I highly recommend ordering in two sizes so you can get the right fit!
This is the first summer I’ve owned a real coverup and I fell in love with this tassel tunic from J.Crew. When I bought it, it was on sale for $36. Pro-tip: just about everything on J.Crew eventually goes on sale so make sure you buy when it’s discounted! They have so many gorgeous swimsuits (love this, this, and this!) and I’ve been loving their beachy tunics and coverups too. We have had a few friends on our back patio and it’s great to throw something cute over a swimsuit after swimming that feels appropriate for having dinner while also staying cool.
I have a few other swim things on the way including this $32 colorblock one-piece and midi dress, both from Amazon! I’ll be sure to share if they are flattering and fit.
