We stopped by the Austin Zoo yesterday since it’s open and the kids and I had a ball! We went with friends and everyone two and up has to wear a mask. I’m not sure if it was because we went first thing in the morning but ALL the animals were out! And the best part is that the lions and the new baby tiger were having a BALL. Sometimes I feel like going to the zoo is a bust because the animals seem bored and sad which makes me sad. This was not the case. If you saw on Instagram stories, the tiger was running around his cage, splashing around with a ball. He’s brand new to the zoo and was recently rescued from a drug cartel! Eep! And the lion, who is 11 (which means old in tiger years), was also running around with a ball, splashing and playing. I loved it.
