How is everyone doing? Is your state opening back up yet?

Things in Texas are moving along and it will be interesting to see how things play out in the next few months. I’m anxious to get back to normal but to do it safely as well. I feel lucky to live somewhere where we can spend the majority of our time outdoors. It’s really been a mood booster around here, especially on those days when I feel like my kids are just in and on everything.

This pandemic has shifted my mindset in many areas but lately quite a bit with blogging. I feel so much less pressure to do certain things and really just write and share what I feel like is fun and exciting for me. Or not share anything at all. Right now I’m enjoying lots of activities with my kids, random dances I’ve learned on Tiktok, book club, home decor as we settle into our new house, and overall, inspiration I find daily. And when it comes to content that I seek on the internet, it’s generally humor. I’ve been enjoying lots of group texts and memes and Tiktok videos which I highly recommend!

Today I just wanted to keep things simple and share two outfits as well as a few other fun finds for under $30 in case you just feel like you want a little something something and don’t want to spend a pretty penny. I have the polka dot dress in two colors and often will wear it as a swim coverup even though it’s a great piece to wear elsewhere!
