Hi All!
We have some exciting news to share… we have moved! Not out of Austin… but to a new house. We found it right before all this craziness started and closed on it at the beginning of social distancing.
This snapshot is just a little glimpse into our new home. I thought it was fitting because the fireplace and built ins are things I have always dreamed of having.
It’s insanely exciting for us and we are so thrilled to begin this new adventure with our family. However, I know this is a really rough time in the world and many people are suffering. It wasn’t the ideal time to buy a house, nor is it ideal to sell… but we feel very fortunate to have found this home.
I thought about not mentioning our move because it feels almost insensitive sharing this huge celebration while so many are struggling, but I felt it was impossible not to address it with all the scenery of my entire blog changing. I also just think it’s important to be honest and open.
I’m so very happy and grateful and can’t wait to share snippets of our decor as we move in and get settled.
