I don’t know about you all, but my mind has been all over the place the past few weeks. Some days are great with the weather and happy kids, and others are really hard. I was walking yesterday morning and listened to the birds chirping and appreciated their chipper sounds and blissful normalcy. A friend mentioned hearing noticing the same thing and how it made her take a moment to practice gratitude.
It’s crazy how quickly we can adjust to a new normal, right? On a typical rainy day, instead of feeling an excuse to watch movies all day, I’ve forced us out into the rain to play. Because almost any day can be a movie day right now.
Blogging has felt so back burner for me. Especially since I have so much less time to myself. Selling clothes and baby products just doesn’t feel inspiring (even though I have some random things I’ve eyed at the bottom of this post). Focusing on self care and happiness is more important. So I’m just doing what feels right and not putting any pressure on myself to have consistent content.
But my quarantine challenge has been an awesome distraction for me. Every day, not only do I put myself up to each challenge, but I have to document. And that takes a lot of work and serious timing for my photographer who is also working! It’s been fun seeing what you all have come up with and what’s been fun for you. And now I’m really excited for virtual book club.
So, this post is going to be a hodge podge of rambling and also sharing some things that have been on my mind. So let’s just roll with it!
