It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Well, almost. It’s already begun a little in our house with the hanging of this garland + lights in our bedroom. We got a little festive with some pillows and I was extra eager to match my littles in the softest pj set ever.

One of the things I love about Christmas is cozy Christmas jammies!

Last year I didn’t bother getting matching family pajamas because I wanted to wait for McKenna to get here and also, I was a little too pregnant to fit into anything cute. But I discovered these jammies online and knew I had to get them early in the event that they’d sell out. You just never know and the print was exactly what I was looking for! These jammies are fitted and the material is bamboo viscose so basically it feels like wearing a cloud. How cute are the little Christmas trees?

I know I keep saying this but this season becomes more special by the year. Charlie is totally psyched about the lights and my kids are finally playing together now that McKenna is on the move. It’s so fun to see them interact and I can’t wait to take them to do various festive activities around town.

Taking these photos was a total challenge but if you’re looking to get your kids smiling, try getting some twinkling lights! We did two different shoots for these (seriously 200+ photos) and even though we didn’t snap a single picture with both kids smiling together, I got some outtakes that I think will highlight the reality of this stage in life and also be hilarious for the kids to look at when they’re older That’s kind of what Christmas cards are for, right? ;)
