A highly requested gift guide was for husbands this year! This guide actually serves for any guy you’re in a relationship with but I had husband on my mind when I created it. I agree with you all: finding the perfect gift for your guy can be really hard! They usually just buy what they need, right?
I actually figured out the best gift I could give Eric this year and I’m so excited about it! DM or email me if you want to hear the idea because he’ll pop on here and I don’t want to take a chance in spoiling it. That being said, I want to give you guys some other creative options other than simple gifts you can purchase because sometimes you want gifting to go further than a new briefcase or shirt (although I clearly love these ideas too!)
First things first. What does your guy value most? Quality time together? Sports? Music? The great outdoors? I usually keep in mind Eric’s favorite activities while also thinking about things we can do together while planning my gift. I’ve realized over the years that the gift of experience goes really far.
Here are just a few ideas:
Plan a date night and buy a gift card to the restaurant in advance so it’s already paid for! Have him open a card with a date + picture of the restaurant menu inside!
Concert Tickets. Always a good idea.
Create a photo book of the year and fun adventures you had (this was an idea E gave me that we will start doing for ourselves!)
Plan a trip. Maybe booking the flights ahead of time isn’t your thing but take a look at your calendar and see what free dates you have. Ask someone to watch your kids and have the whole thing organized before!

Watch a sporting event (wish we had a professional team in Austin!)
