The Perfect Rain Jacket

It’s literally been 20 years since I’ve owned a rain jacket and I’m wondering how I’ve gone without a closet essential for so long! Especially since rainy days have been frequent both here in Austin and back home in Chicago. I guess I’ve just rolled with a hoodie and an umbrella but now that I’ve got two kids to shuffle around town, I have less hands to carry things like umbrellas.

So I’m glad I finally purchased this jacket! It’s lightweight and won’t be bothersome on humid days where I feel like I’m trapped in my sweat. I feel like it’s the perfect coat too because you don’t need a rainy day to wear it. I think it will work just as well as a windbreaker! I sized down because I read reviews it ran small and the xs fits perfectly.
