A Few Things You May Not Know About Me

HOW is it the last week of August? What a whirlwind of a summer!

My brother is getting married this weekend and then it’s SEPTEMBER and the start to my favorite time of year- YAY! Easing in slowly though (115 with heat index today- oh heyyyyy) and pretending cooler weather is on it’s way!

I’m switching it up today and sharing a few things you may not know about me, in no particular order :)

I’m an extrovert and need social plans on the calendar at least every other week (if not weekly). But I am also a huge –homebody! It’s all about balance, right? An ideal weekend means getting together with friends one night and curling up on the couch with a good binge-worthy Netflix show the other night.

Procrastinating has never been my thing and I have NEVER pulled an all nighter studying! I love my sleep too much. I’m a planner and get as much as I can done ahead of time.

I have been an extra in both a movie and TV show. I was invited by a friend for the movie but I cannot remember for the life of me how I got on the show but they did my hair and makeup and everything! The movie was The Weather Man and the TV show was Boss.

I’m such a kid at heart and love toys and games and secretly can’t wait for when my kids play with dolls because I want a doll house….

My favorite food is peanut butter.

I think a part of me wants to totally recreate my childhood for my kids because it was such a magical time for me but I don’t live in the same town and it won’t be exactly the same (I miss Chicago beach days, driving to Evanston for art supplies, and Halloween on my block). But I can create our own magic wherever we are!

I have 31 first cousins.

I love the SOUND of football on a Sunday afternoon, but honestly could care less about the game.

I love golf even though I’m terrible at it. When my kids are older and I actually want to commit the time, I’ll get back into it.

Fleetwood Mac is next up on my bucket list of concerts.

I have freckles in one eye!

That’s it. That’s all my randomness for today. SO- do we have a lot in common? Or are we totally different?!
