Since returning from all our summer vacations, healthy eating and exercising have been a priority of mine. No longer do I have any excuses preventing me from getting back into my routine and focusing on myself.
Never have I felt stronger or more energized than since I started FWTFL two weeks ago. I’m going to focus on exercise in this post, so I’ll save my experience with that for a later one.
But I’ve felt inspired and motivated to get back in the exercise game and it makes me feel so proud of myself every day!
Here are my current work outs:
RUN 3 miles on the trail 2x a week
SPRINT intervals on trail 1x a week (literally pick trees and say to myself, spring from this to that! then walk)
BARRE 2x a week. If you live in Austin, MOD Fitness is the best.
Barre is my favorite exercise but it does mean I have to get childcare which isn’t always available. When I’m not able to make barre (I can only go once this week), I try and do some exercises at home. Currently I am doing programs through the Faster Way portal but hope to find some on youtube soon (send me recs, please!)
A combo of healthy eating and routine exercise has made for better nights of sleep and more productive days. It also has made me watch my wine & chocolate intake and reward myself when I feel like I earned it!
What are your favorite exercises? Personally, running is something that just helps me clear my head and no matter what mood I’m in, I ALWAYS feel a little better after running. Today I’m sharing an alternative/rock playlist that’s great for long runs or if you’re sick of ‘Today’s Hit’s’ like I am.

PS: I don’t know how Lululemon bras fit you, but this Energy Bra is my first and I had to size up two sizes. I linked a different bra in the same print (because I love the print!) but not sure about fit!
