My Favorite Swimwear

I’m so particular about the swimsuits I buy. Aren’t we all? We have different bodies and swimsuits can make us feel vulnerable and finding ones that fit us perfectly can be a trick!

Since having kids (and also losing interest in perfect tan lines), I have really gravitated toward one piece swimsuits. I’m so glad they are back because not only are they super practical (lots of tugging while carrying babies), but I think they are so classic and adorable. I’ve decided to invest in a few swimsuits and keep a rotation of a few while on vacation and spending a ton of time in water! It’s like wearing another outfit.

I just added this adorable one-piece from J.Crew to my collection and I love color block style and fit. It’s a tad snug so I ordered a size up (wearing a 6) and I love that the tie falls right over my stomach and makes me feel tucked in. I believe this color combo is sold out but it’s available in a pretty blue combo and is on sale! #win!

I have bought a couple suits from JCrew now and really like the material and style. Whenever it comes to buying swimsuits, I always recommend buying two sizes to make sure you get the right fit. You can always return what doesn’t work and that way, you don’t miss out if the swimsuit sells out before you get your correct size. I’ve discovered that I generally need to size up in JCrew swim but that’s not always the case. Better to be safe than sorry in my opinion!

Another swim brand I have had my eye on is Kate Spade! Her swimwear is classic with adorable prints that will stand the test of time.
