Hi friends! I wanted to talk to you about something that’s been on my mind: transparency & the internet. I’ve seen so many people sharing ‘REAL TALK’ and ‘being REAL’ on Instagram, and while I totally understand why everyone wants to remind everyone that Instagram is a highlight reel and that life behind the scenes isn’t always glamorous, I feel like explaining over and over that you’re trying to be real kind of tells me you weren’t doing that before. Ya know?
Anyway, to be frank- I’m all about the pretty feed on Instagram. I LOVE photography and have the best time shooting content and maintaining my brand. It’s fun. It gets my creative juices flowing. Occasionally I’ll share an iPhone picture or a candid snap instead of an outfit or recipe, but for the most part, I like my professional images.
My stories are where you’ll find lots of snaps and clips of every day life.
SO. Just expect that from me and also expect that everything I share with you is my honest opinion. I hope you know that I’ve always been “real“ with you guys.
One of the brands I’ve been sharing with you is one I was dying to work with last year and I finally reached out to! You guys have seen tons of images of my Babyzen strollers on my feed. The truth behind that collaboration is that we bought a travel stroller last fall and LOVED it so much that I thought it would be neat to work with them. Eric is a thorough researcher and found what he believed to be the best travel stroller on the market and it made our fall travels with a toddler and baby on the way much easier. I reached out to Babyzen in anticipation of having McKenna because I wanted another stroller. And they said YES to collaborating. I was so pumped because I would be able to work with a brand already tried and true and it would be so easy to rave about them :) And also I’d be getting another awesome travel stroller! Not all my partnerships form like this but ALL of them are ones I am excited to try or have already had great experiences with.
