I chatted with my cousin last week about our kids and being on our cell phones around them (no matter what it is we’re doing). Now that Charlie is older, he is really noticing when I’m paying attention now and not only is it important for me to watch him like a hawk, but it’s important for me to know that HE is more important than whatever is going on on my phone! So I’m doing a better job putting my phone away when we play and really getting that quality time :)
We had an amazing weekend celebrating Eric’s birthday. We stayed in Friday and drank wine while watching Game Night. We took Charlie to a splash pad Saturday and then enjoyed a date night at fun restaurant called Suerte (SO good you guys). And we had friends over for dinner Sunday! My favorite kind of weekend involves family & friends!
