A Delicious Veggie Smoothie!

Happy Friday & Happy Easter Weekend, Friends!

I wanted to quick share the most delicious smoothie with you all before signing off for the weekend. This one takes the hat with health and taste! If you watch my IG stories, you know we make smoothies in our house all the time and that our toddler LOVES them. I thought I’d share a smoothie that’s great for hiding some veggies while maintaining delicious taste!

This recipe is open for some changes, of course! Smoothies are easy to switch up. I had to force myself to measure because I generally eyeball it! But I wanted to give you an idea of how much of everything goes in in case you like to look at sugar content, etc.

We buy Vega Chocolate Protein (plant based and so good) and that seems to be enough flavor in itself so I generally use ice and water instead of berries. But that fruit is so good. Here is my recipe!

DELICIOUS VEGGIE SMOOTHIE:

1/2 medium avocado or 1/2 banana

1 scoop Vega chocolate protein

1 cup frozen berries or ice

1 cup lightly packed spinach

1/3 cup chopped cauliflower

1 cup water

 

Blend in Vitamix until smooth. I always start with less water and add more as needed. I personally like my smoothies to be a little more thick!
