A must have in every woman’s closet is a go-to dress for a special occasion that can be thrown on without thought. These days that special occasion for me is generally a baby shower! As I was browsing my closet recently, I realized I lack casual dresses. I have plenty of outfits for dressier events and sweaters for days but I was really lacking simple dresses.
What I loved about this dress immediately besides the simple print was how it felt flattering on my postpartum body. It’s sinched in the front right over the belly and has such a simple silhouette. I love the way the dress falls at the bottom, flattering the legs. After having a baby, it can be uncomfortable trying to wear different clothes- you aren’t exactly fitting into your old things and buying new clothing seems silly until you get closer to your normal size… but dresses give you a little break!

I didn’t link my sandals because after wearing them for an hour, my feet felt super uncomfortable, but I linked a similar pair!
