HAPPY NEW YEAR!

It feels like the holidays came and went in the blink of an eye this year. I guess I always feel they go so fast.

I went full speed all fall preparing for the end of the year and happily distracting myself with travel, activities, and the holidays. Now January marks the countdown until baby and a lot of time for R & R.

2018 was a special year for us and one with many Firsts. We adjusted to our role of parenting and became first time homeowners. Half way through the year we found our we were expecting Baby Girl and what an incredible surprise that was!

Part of our self-discovery was realizing that having kids doesn’t mean totally changing our lifestyle. We managed to take Charlie on some pretty spectacular trips this year and enjoyed vacations along both the East & West Coasts.

We found balance through planning regular date nights and making sure to put our marriage first. Kids are stressful and sometimes they can cause tension! Focusing on communicating with one another and spending ALONE time together has been essential for us. We’re keeping that in mind as we prepare for #2!

I look forward to another year of adventure, growing our family, and sharing our journey with you.
