When it comes to fall fashion, there are so many things to add to your wardrobe to make it exciting and comfortable. Over the years I’ve moved past just collecting the usual items like new booties & a cozy scarf to investing in items I know I’ll grab season after season.
It’s great feeling to be able to open your closet and feel like you have choices. I love having different pieces that I can mix and match to create a variety of cozy outfits that make me feel confident and put together. And it all starts with the basics. Denim. Simple tops. A pair of boots you love. A simple coat…
Today I’ve curated a list of my favorite fall items- all the essentials I gather to create a cozy fall wardrobe!
Utility Jacket:
Olive green is one of my all time favorite colors to wear. SO many stores sell adorable utility jackets! I love this with a basic tee and jeans. It’s simple and the perfect layer for a crisp fall day.
Denim
To be honest, investing in good denim is new for me. It’s taken me a while to really bite the bullet and splurge but finding a pair of jeans that fit perfectly and make me feel GOOD about myself are so worth it. Right now my favorite brand is Rag & Bone. Browse through- you can often find pairs on sale!
Cozy Sweater
You can never have enough cozy sweaters! It’s worth it to buy ones that aren’t itchy and make you feel warm and comfortable in all day. I highly recommend the Free People one (first image)! It’s my favorite I’ve bought this year and comes in so many colors. The material is so soft and comfy. Trust me. I wear an xs even with a baby bump.
Ankle Boots
I have an ankle bootie obsession. They just add a little flare to an outfit and make your legs look GOOD.
Sweater Dress
I’ve been scouring the internet looking for cute sweater dresses. I love these for the holidays and they are the perfect non-maternity outfit for expecting moms!
Cozy Scarf
I don’t wear scarves all that often in Texas but when I travel home for the holidays, it’s an essential. Love all the fun patterns & textures!
Fedora
I LOVE MY FEDORA. And clearly you do too. Mine sold out quickly but I’ve linked a few other ones I love. They are such a fun touch to an outfit!
