CHARLIE IS A LITTLE PERSON! Suddenly, he has so much personality and I can’t get enough of it. He’s already eager for our attention… I know “Look, Mom!” is going to be a phrase I hear a lot soon ;) He started bouncing consistently in that jumparoo like the little ball full of energy that he is, and it’s hilarious to see him go. Every once in a while he’ll stop and see if we’re watching and if we give him a smile, he’ll giggle and start again. He is loving life and we are loving watching him grow.
The best part of this stage is all the playing and exploring we’re doing. We took Charlie out with us to dinner the other night and he was eager to grab everything in sight. He nearly knocked over my wine! He’s been much more interested in everything we are doing and holding but I didn’t think about him grabbing stuff at the dinner table. Lesson learned. And I’ve realized I need to have some baby toys in my diaper bag at all times.
Now that Charlie is 6 months, we have outgrown some of my previous favorite baby products like the Rock and Play and grown into a bunch of new ones. I thought I’d give a run-down of 6 products I’m loving for this stage of life!
I thought this might be a silly thing to register for when we did. Why not put a bottle in a coffee mug with warm water and warm it up? Do I really need a device to do this? But what I’ve found is that anything that makes my life as a parent easier is worth it. What I love about this bottle warmer is that you can pop your bottle in there, warm it up, and it will automatically shut off after it reaches the desired temperature. I love popping a bottle in there when I’m not sure what time Charlie will wake up from his nap and just have it ready to go. I don’t have to worry about it overheating and can count on it staying warm.
Hang them on your playmat, hang them from your carseat, pass them over at the restaurant- these play toys are SO fun. We have a ton of them and Charlie loves grabbing them and of course, popping them right into his mouth. I find washing them in the washer super easy! They make great baby gifts ;)
This is my personal favorite. I can’t stop watching Charlie bounce in it. It’s the cutest thing in the world. It’s one of the best products we registered for that plays music and has a variety of crinkly, fascinating toys.
When we first registered for baby items, I didn’t think we’d need to put spoons on there. I think we bought about 4 of them. But now that he is eating solids 3x a day, I wanted a ton of them so I could pop them right in the dishwasher! Best part? $3… But choose any kind you like. There are a ton of options.
We have endless laundry in our house. My favorite baby bibs are the waterproof ones because they’re so easy to wipe off with a wipe and pop in the washer. I personally love the Dr. Suess bibs.
We just got this bumbo seat and I wish we had gotten it sooner! If you’re starting solids and tight on space in your home, this is the product for you. Or if you’re on the go and need to feed your baby at a friends house, you need this! Don’t worry, I don’t leave Charlie on top of a table or any surface that isn’t the floor, unattended. It’s the perfect seat to help your baby sit up and learn good posture.

So fun! I always love keeping tabs on little Charlie to know what I can look forward to in the next month or two. He’s such a cutie! We have the bumbo seat and really love it! Benjamin is not quite sitting up on his own so the seat is great to help him build those muscles. Your Instagram videos of Charlie jumping in the jumparoo are adorable!
