Charlie’s Swim Outfit: Little Me, Another option here | Sun hat: Target | Not pictured: Sunglasses (SO CUTE)
We had the most gorgeous Saturday after quite a few weeks of cool rainy weather and it was SO refreshing to get out of the house and spend time outside. High 80s. Totally dry. All the sunshine. It was everything. We decided to meet friends for lunch and then take Charlie to their community pool for a swim. Now that he loves bath time, I have been eager to get him in the water. Plus, when you live in a city like Austin where water activities and pools are everywhere, it’s important to get your kiddo acclimated to it! I can’t wait to take swim lessons with him this fall.
As you can see, Charlie was a little skeptical about this new adventure. But to be honest, the water was FREEZING. It took us a bit of time to get used to it, and once we did, he had fun kicking around his feet (although he saved his smiles for later when he was warm and dry).

I’ve been getting my camera out as much as possible lately. It’s crazy how much a baby can change, even just in a week! The happy baby phase (you know, grabbing his feet and playing with his toes) has started, as well as loud gawking and talking to himself. Each day brings something new and it’s the best.
