My mind on vacay and vacay on my mind…
I’ve had a beach vacation on my mind for a long time. We avoided going anywhere south over the last year and a half when we were family planning and ever since Charlie was born and Eric asked me if there was any kind of vacation I could envision, a beach trip was my first thought. I love the ocean. I love sitting by the pool. I love reading a good book and getting a little vitamin D. So we booked a trip for Florida for May and I can hardly wait! I have been eagerly perusing the internet for a cute swim suit to wear and sip a cocktail in by the pool. Thank God one pieces are back in style… Mama is grateful! Loving this sexy cut out suit and this simple striped one (under $100 with the current web sale!)… I can imagine both with a straw hat.
What kind of clothing do you first purchase when the weather starts getting warmer? I just bought this gorgeous lace tee that is the perfect staple top for Spring. I love the idea of wearing it with these denim shorts, this straw bag, and these espadrilles! It would also look adorable with these simple camel mules … Anyone else a huge fan of the color camel for warmer weather?
