Christmas is officially over and that melancholic feeling has set in. There is so much hype and anticipation leading up to the holidays that the days immediately following feel a little blue. But I’m glad to be in Chicago bundled up by the fire with zero agenda and a chance to just relax while family members wrestle over the opportunity to hold my baby.
We got that White Christmas we all dreamed of and now the temperatures are absolutely freezing. I’m feeling extra grateful for all the cozy layers we packed even though our suitcases were busting at the seams.
I firmly believe that gray is the best winter neutral to accessorize and investing in a warm winter coat is worth every penny. When it’s chilly and you’re bundled in layers, a coat often becomes the focal point of your outfit. You might as well have one that’s not only practical, but stylish too!
I bought this jacket on Black Friday a year ago and it’s still one of the best investments I’ve made! It’s still available in a few sizes and I’m wearing a size 4 for reference ;) My sweater is nearly sold out (can’t help it guys- so popular during the holidays!) but I’ve linked a few similar :)
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are staying warm and cozy!
